It’s one of those things. When your writing goes well, your words billow and flow. But when things aren’t moving so smoothly, it can be a lonely, fraught and frankly frustrating process. At such times it can be wise to seek some advice.
Through individually focused, critical but friendly consultations, I can analyse, assess and address your writing concerns. This can mean that I provide you with guidance at the start of a project, offer affirmation or redirection if you get stuck in the middle, or give you a firm and friendly nudge when you reach the final, vital stages to ensure you get the damn thing finished, polished and published.
Conducted by email, phone or skype, these sessions will involve the two of us working closely together to identify and rectify your writing concerns. This may include a detailed textual analysis of your writing, investigation into your writing process and practice, recommendations for organising or structuring your document and suggestions for improving aspects of your written expression.
Advice is available and useful to those who know what they want to say but have got lost somewhere along the way. If everyone you know (including yourself) rolls their eyes and groans whenever you mention your project, it’s time for you to talk to me. Or, if you’ve never whispered a word to anybody about your secret scribing, you’re probably needing another perspective on it all by now. Let me know what’s happening either way.
